Whether or not you know it, you’ve heard Caleb’s playing. His musical heritage is astonishing; he took over Jimmy Page’s studio slot when Page left for the Yardbirds. His is the iconic guitar work on the Troggs’ “Wild Thing.” He formed the classic British rock band Hookfoot in 1970. Caleb helped get Elton John signed, then took on guitar duties during John’s classic period. He’s played with Mick Jagger, Pete Townsend, and Paul McCartney. Eric Clapton called him the world’s greatest guitar player. Caleb’s band “Caleb Quaye & The Faculty” recently cut a live CD, “A Night in San Dimas”, due to be released soon.
